Check your HSK vocabulary

Check that you have covered all the vocabulary that you could be tested on in your next HSK exam with our filterable and searchable lists.

Find your list

Navigate to the HSK level that you are working towards. For example, open this page for HSK Level 4

Click the “About this level” button. For HSK Level 4, that will bring you to this page:

Click the 3rd tab, labelled “Vocabulary.”

Filter your list

By default, you will see only the prescribed vocabulary that is new at your level but you can click the lozenges to include the vocabulary introduced in previous levels as well if you wish:

You can filter the list to only show items you have previously bookmarked, or else those you have not bookmarked.

Find an item

The vocabulary is listed alphabetically by its Pinyin transcription. Click a letter to jump to the part of the list where the items all begins with that letter:

You can also search for a specific item by typing Chinese characters, Pinyin (without tone markings) or English:

Export your list

If you wish to export the vocabulary, with any filters you have applied, click to “Download” the list in an .xls file.
