Creating Accounts Individually
How to create individual accounts for Teachers and Learners in your school Campus
If you are an “Agent,” you have added permissions that allow you to manage the Classes and People in a school Campus. Go to the Campus page, then below the Campus details at the top select the “People” tab select …
Add People > Manually
If you want to create a new HSK Mock/ Wo Hui Mandarin account for someone in your school, click the “+ Add People” button and select “Add manually.”


A pop-up opens inviting you to specify for the new account:
Given name
Family name
Email address
Please take extra care to ensure this is correct and without typosDate of Birth
Gender
Select one: Male, Female or Anon/OtherRole
Select one: Teacher or Learner)
Consent
If the person is under 15 years of age, you will additionally be asked who will give consent to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on behalf of the student. You have two choices:
An Agent in this campus
Select this option if you have or will get the Parent or Legal Guardian’s consent.A Parent or Legal Guardian directly
If you select this option, you will be asked to input an email address for the Parent or Legal Guardian so we can ask them to give their consent.
Activation
Once you click “Save” you will be asked whether you want to “Activate” the account now or later.

When you Activate an account, the person is notified by email that you have created an account for them.
You may, for example, wish to create accounts two weeks before the start of the school term so you have everything ready, but you do not want your teachers and students to log in until the term begins. In that case you would choose “Activate later” when you create their account.
Activate Now
An email is sent to the person immediately, notifying them that you have created an account for them and asking them to click a link to (re)set a password for themselves with which to log in.
Note
When you Activate an account for someone under 15 years of age, you will also be asked to confirm that the Parent or Legal Guardian has given their consent.
Activate Later
When you are ready to Activate the account, return to the People tab on your Campus page, locate the account you want to activate and select “Activate” by clicking:
The “…” on the right hand end of the row and then “Activate” in the menu that opens;
or
The “…” on the right hand end of the row, then “Edit” to open a pop-up with all the details of the account, and then the “Activate” button in the top right of the pop-up;
The checkbox on the left hand end of the row, then the “Bulk Action” button at the top of the table, and then “Activate” in the menu that opens.
